Opportunity for students who have scored at least 65% in one of the language subjects as well as in one of the science subjects at the higher secondary school (pre-university). For higher secondary students without science subjects and for diploma/graduate students, the core subject is considered in addition to the language subject. Students from all types of schools and different curricula will also be given preference. We do welcome applications from candidates who wish to pursue this program after diploma/graduation.

Nursing Education in Germany (Ausbildung zur Pflegefachfrau)

Nursing is a profession that offers individuals the opportunity to work in the field of human welfare, helping and serving the needy and sick. The nursing profession will exist until the end of time. Moreover, it is an integral and vital part of man and society. Therefore, nurses are considered the backbone of the entire medical field. In Germany, vocational training in nursing is offered to enable entry into professional life in the field of nursing ...The training to become a state-certified nursing specialist takes three years and is offered at our partner school PflegeFachSchule (PFSH) Hannover. This program ends with a state examination, which consists of a practical, written and oral part. PFSH is one of the best and leading nursing schools in the Hannover region. The nursing school, in conjunction with its own modernized nursing homes, offers an optimal learning environment and excellent nursing training opportunities at zero cost. Students will have access to modern classrooms, a fitness center seven days a week, and will be provided personal laptops (FREE). Upon completion of the program, students can begin their careers as registered nurses. Students will also receive an educational salary during their training. The training program is offered in German only; therefore, it is important to learn German at the required level to facilitate transition and study. There are different levels of German courses (A1, A2, B1, B2), and students are expected to reach at least B2 level to understand the topics taught in German. Currently, various institutions in India are offering German courses due to the increasing demand. Generally, each language course lasts between 6 weeks and 2 months, and a minimum of 8 to 10 months is required to reach B2/C1 level before entering the course.

Structure

Vocational training in nursing in accordance with the Nursing Professions Act consists of theoretical instruction (2400 hours) at nursing schools and practical training (2500) at a training institution and other healthcare facilities from the various nursing fields. During the training, theory and practice will be combined in sections of several weeks. Teaching takes place in learning situations. Learning situations structure the teaching as a thematic unit and represent professional action situations of a nursing specialist. ... The majority of the practical training takes place at the training company where the trainee has signed the training contract. The practical training includes assignments in all areas of nursing, i.e., in hospitals, nursing homes, outpatient nursing services, in psychiatric nursing and in the care of children and young people. This training enables trainees to care for people of all ages in all areas of nursing. The generalist nursing training concludes after three years with the professional qualification of "nursing specialist". Since graduates can work in all areas of nursing after their training, they have a wide range of employment and development opportunities. In addition, the professional qualification is automatically recognized throughout the EU. This means that it is also possible to work as a nursing specialist in other EU countries.
